Good Monday morning everyone and welcome to our new My Besties International DT Challenge using Bunnies/Eggs. Well this is certainly a very appropriate challenge since Easter is just around the corner.
I have chosen another 3D deco image from Sherri Baldys beautiful images. This one is called 3D Bunny Girl and you can find her in Sherri's Etsy Shop by clicking HERE
I have absolutely fallen in love with the 3D sheets and had a great time designing this card around the image. I have also fallen in love with creating easel cards. I just love they way they look and the added area that I can embelish the area that shows when the card is standing up. So without further ado, here is my creation with this precious sheet.

And here is a side view so that you can see the 3D layers:
This card has 5 cut layers of various parts of the image. Normally I would not cut out the base part of the image. I usually just use a die cut to frame the original image and then cut the other layers out, which usually consist of about 4 layers. But I had this absolutely beautiful piece of paper that had a doily look surrounded by flowers and I knew that I was going to have to incorporate it somehow in this challenge. Sooooo then I kept looking at it trying to figure out what I was going to do and the a light bulb went off and I said ok I know, I will also cut it out too. Oh my, I didn't know what I was getting myself into, as there are a ton of flowers and leaves around the doily. But I took out my trusty x-acto knife and my glass mat went to town. it was not the easiest thing I have ever cut, but I was soooooo pleased when I finally got it done So I mounted Ms. 3D Bunny Girl in the center and thought ok I love the look, but it still needs some depth, so I pulled out some of my beautiful Wild Orchid Flowers and did groups of 3 around the doily, leaving spaces between so you could see the paper flower images in between the wild orchid flowers. This piece of paper was in a set that I received and is by Anna Zaprizelska, It is called Just Love Me.
The design papers are from Lili of the Valley.
Pink beaded swirls from AC Moore
Lace is from JoAnns Fabrics
