July 1, 2016 - Anything Goes or Alternative All About Fantasy/Fairytales

Welcome to our July Challenge with the My Besties International Design Team.  Once again we have a them and then an alternative.  I chose Anything Goes.

My design this month is a very special one, as I have this planned as a surprised for some friends.  I wanted to be a little out of the box.  Well I guess I literally did that.  LOL    The image I used for this is IMG 359 and you can find this sweet digi in Sherri Baldy's Etsy Shop by clicking HERE

Here is my project for this month.

I love that this can be more than a card and is so useful and hold tons of memories.  This is called a Scrapbook In A Box.  It is beautiful sitting on a coffee table, a night stand, well just anywhere.  But when you take the lid off.  Oh my.  Let me show you.

This is a photo of the box opened.  The lid is standing behind it.  Each one of these flaps hold photos of your choice.  You can make your box a theme or just random photos.  The first one I ever made was for People, Places and Things that I love.  It was a duke mixture of all kind of photos.  I made another one that was a Christmas Theme and I made a couple to give to my dear friend Sherri so she could put photos of her new grandbabies in them.  I have also made a couple for wedding photos and gave to the new couple.  So see they can be used for so many things and people just love them.  So you might want to give it a try.

I love pinks and greens together and I'm sure that's why I chose those colors for my wedding 51 years ago.

Again I used paper and ribbon that I had on hand.  The butterflys are from a Martha Stewart Punch.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the dies I used are awesome stitched dies from Fun Stampers Journey.

We would love for you to come join us in our monthly challenge.  If you can't do that, then take a few minutes and visit our blog and see all the designs of our Design Team.  You can find us on our blog by clicking HERE

Thank you for stopping by.  If you will please leave your comments.  I so appreciate them all.

Happy Stamping and Blessings to All,
Pat
